Spring is officially here, and we're ready to celebrate. And nothing says spring like these little bunny treats. The recipe comes from raw food chef and nutritionist Sophie Jaffe (The Philosophie). Not only are they bursting with healthy fats, magnesium, potassium, vitamin C and iron, but they only require two ingredients to make!
Create a double boiler by placing a heat proof bowl over a pot of simmering water. Make sure that the base of the bowl does not touch the water. Add 2 cups ofBerry Bliss Coconut Butterto the bowl along with 4 tablespoons of the coconut oil. (Note: If your coconut butter is too firm to scoop out 1 cup easily, simply set it in a shallow pot of warm, but not boiling water for several minutes, or until soft enough to scoop.)
Stir theBerry Bliss Coconut Butterand coconut oil constantly as they melt until they are well combined. Once combined, pour into bunny molds or your favorite easter-themed silicone mold.
Refrigerate for about an hour or until hardened and then remove your coconut butter melts from the molds. Store in refrigerator until serving.
