Zoe Saldana has been hitting the gym since she gave birth to twin boys, Cy and Bowie, last November, and she's ready to show off her newly svelte figure.
In a Facebook selfie posted by the 37-year-old actress, Saldana stands in front of a mirror at the gym while sporting a slim frame and killer abs.
"Almost there! It's been difficult but so rewarding. I feel strong. All it takes is determination! Mommies. we can all do it, damn it!!!" she writes.
While she's been getting lots of fan support, cheering her on for losing the 70 pounds she gained while pregnant (did we mention she had twins?!), some moms are crying foul.
"I understand the notion of no excuses. But you can't assume everyone can do different things and get the same results," writes Alescia Kennon on Saldana's page. "Having a personal trainer, being able to do effective workouts daily, going to the gym, etc., is completely different than walking up and down the stairs or using cat litter as weights."
Other moms are rushing to her defense, even posting their own selfies to both commiserate and affirm her post as inspiring.
"Zoe just this pic alone gives me so much motivation and you inspire me to get mine back after having my 2," writes Ya Ya on the actress's page.
Mixed in with adorable photos of her two boys and Italian artist husband Marco Perego Saldana, Zoe also has taken to her Instagram account to post motivational quotes: "I'm a woman now. My body has changed forever. It's softer ... and stronger," the quote from InStyle magazine reads over a photo of the actress.
Responding directly to the mixed comments on her Facebook page, Zoe took the high road and focused only on the positive responses.
"Beautiful ladies, thank you for your positive comments," she writes. "You have no idea the joy and pride I feel when I read your comments saying you feel inspired and want to do it for yourself. Please continue to share, I was inspiring by so many mommies around me to get back into shape because they shared their journey with me."
