February is my favorite time to be quiet and listen to what's ruminating inside. After much holiday socializing and consumption of food, gifts and spirits, my entire being needs a rest. It begins shortly after my birthday, and this year, I am contemplating living more simply: going gray, garage sales, a family road trip, editing down to the essentials in life and home.
