We know, you probably don't have pear brandy just lying around. But trust us, the investment in a bottle will be worth it. The Poire William pear brandy adds an elegant complexity to this pretty Champagne cocktail, and agave keeps it from getting too heavy.


Pomegranate Cava Punch

1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon Poire William or other pear brandy

2 tablespoons agave syrup

2 2/3 cups sparkling wine

Bosc pear, sliced (for garnish)


Whisk together pear brandy and agave syrup until well blended. Pour syrup into four flutes. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with Bosc pear slices.
