St. Honoré 75

St. Germain elderflower liqueur stands in for the gin in this twist on the classic French 75 cocktail. The original cocktail gets its name for having a kick as powerful as a French 75mm field gun. We think the St. Germain substitution's a bit more peaceful.

4 tablespoons St. Germain liqueur

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 bottle chilled sparkling wine

4 lemon twists for garnish


Place four Champagne flutes into freezer for 15 minutes. Remove flutes from freezer and pour 1 tablespoon of St. Germain and 3/4 teaspoon of lemon juice into each flute. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with lemon twist.
