Ho, ho, ho and a bottle of rum—OK, well not a whole bottle! In this warm brew, a few drams of spiced rum will turn your evening coffee into an adventure. And amaretto-kissed whipped cream adds a sweet nutty note to the mix.
Pomegranate Cava Punch
St. Honoré Cocktail
4 teaspoons raw sugar
12 ounces strong hot coffee (decaffeinated works well, too)
6 ounces dark, spicy rum
4 ounces heavy cream
1 ounce amaretto
1. To make cocktail, combine sugar and hot coffee in a large saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add rum, and stir to combine. Divide into mugs and top with whipped amaretto cream.
2. To make amaretto cream, whip heavy cream and amaretto with a hand mixer until peaks form.
