Here’s a tragic story of a wife making the ultimate sacrifice for her husband. One Sunday morning in Wissinoming, Penn., Teresa Marquard and her husband Albert were enjoying a leisurely walk around their neighborhood. Suddenly, a minivan driven by intoxicated Eric Luciano careened around a corner and jumped the curb, headed right for the couple. Following her instinct, Teresa pushed Albert out of the path of the speeding vehicle, only to be hit by it herself. She was struck and killed instantly. Teresa and Albert had been married for 42 years, together since they were both 14 years old, so it’s not surprising they’d have a bond that amazingly strong.
