Friday Cocktail: Creamsicle

It's a childhood favorite transformed into a sophisticated and delicious skinny martini that has just a few more calories than the famous ice cream bar, itself! Enjoy this one for dessert on a warm summer day. Garnish with a popsicle stick and orange slices.

Ingredients

2 ounces vanilla vodka

2 1/2 ounces light orange juice

1/2 ounce sugar-free peach syrup

Directions

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 10 to 15 seconds. Strain into a 5-ounce martini glass.

Skinny Tidbit: Sugar-free syrups are a great way to reduce calories of certain alcohols that are high in sugar without messing with the flavor. Sugar-free peach is a great replacement for peach schnapps and will save you about 72 calories per ounce!
