Hoarders form emotional attachments to all kinds of things, but a dead body? That was the case with Florida mother Bobbie Barnett Hancock, who stored the body of her mother Ann Bunch in a rental unit for 16 years after her death in 1994. Hancock had allegedly wanted to send her mother’s body back to Alabama where she was born for burial, but “never got around to it,” and the mummified corpse was discovered when the unit was put up for auction for unpaid rent. It fell to Hancock’s daughter Rebecca Fancher to finally put her grandmother’s remains to rest.
