How to Remove Ink Easily

Step 1

Apply a stain remover or laundry detergent. Let the product soak a few minutes before washing in warm water. Repeat if necessary.

Step 2

Rinse the ink stain with cold water. Mix 1 tbsp. each of lemon juice and laundry detergent. Apply it to the stain and let it sit 30 minutes. Wash as usual.

Step 3

Soak the item for 30 minutes in warm water mixed with 1/2 tsp. dishwashing detergent and 1 tbsp. of white vinegar. Rinse.

Step 4

Spray hair spray on the ink stain. Wait 30 seconds and wipe away with damp cloth. The alcohol will help remove the stain.

Step 5

Dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol. Apply to the ink stain. Wipe excess alcohol with a clean cotton swab. Rinse with water. Repeat if necessary.

Step 6

Make a paste with 1 tbsp. each of baking soda and water. Apply paste to the stain. Let the paste sit five to 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
