Have you been waiting for the list of the top 100 baby names of the year to be released, too? OK, so maybe you haven't been counting the days, but this is a pretty fun list to look at. You can get ideas for what to name future kids, see how your kids ranked this year (or if they even made the cut) and contribute to the conversation when your other mom friends are chatting about the top 100 list.

We just like looking at it to see if any weird names actually showed up—like Apple (bless her little heart) or other celeb-inspired namesakes. This year's crop seemed to be less farfetched, favoring traditional names over hot-right-now ones.

Topping the list of the girls, for the fourth year in a row, is Sophia, and Jackson finally bumped Aiden from his eight-year winning streak.

Rounding out the top 10 slots for the girls are Emma, Olivia, Isabella, Mia, Ava, Lily, Zoe, Emily and Chloe. For the boys, Aiden fell to No. 2 two and Liam, Lucas, Noah, Mason, Jayden, Ethan, Jacob and Jack followed.

Some of our favorites on the list for the boys are Asher, Micah and Grayson. On the girls side, we're loving Aria, Lila and Scarlett.
