Parents Recreate Iconic Movie Scenes with Cardboard Boxes

Moving can be rough—for a million different reasons. Just one of the not-so-fun parts? That never-ending mountain of boxes you have to deal with.

But for one awesomely creative parenting duo, the over-abundance of boxes they accrued after moving three times in one year was just the inspiration they needed.

On CardboardBoxOffice.com, Leon Mackie and his wife, Lily Lang, can be seen recreating iconic images from some of the biggest blockbusters of all time--right out of their cardboard boxes. Star Wars, Terminator... It's all there; and brilliantly recaptured with some common household props and a little imagination.

But the star of each scene is by far the couple's baby Orson, who adorably plays the part of everyone from Kevin McCallister to Luke Skywalker. And the Internet is sure taking notice.

The family's blog has gone pretty viral since the weekend, raking in tons of hits and lots of kudos.

Speaking with GoodMorningAmerica.com, Mackie said their latest move to Sydney, Australia left them with a lot of together time, which sparked his imagination. After whipping up their first cardboard movie scene and posting it online, Mackie said "People loved it and asked if we were doing any more. We had a lot of weekends at home, so I thought, 'Why not?'"
