You've probably been that told you have your mom's eyes or your dad's nose, but how closely do you actually resemble your family members? Ulric Collette, a self-taught Canadian photographer, wanted to examine the close connections between families by photographing "genetic portraits" of faces and then mashing them together.
While slightly disturbing at times, they're also quite interesting to look at. You can see just how much we look like our family. Colette's photographs also have been placed on a short list of entries for the prestigious Cannes Lions award for advertising images, according to the Daily Mail.
