Milk ... it does a body good. But, everybody? Maybe.

A woman has claimed that she nursed a labrador puppy back to life with her own breast milk.

After the little pup's mom died, a Colorado mother of a 15-month-old, said that the dog was slowly wasting away. He was refusing to eat food or consume any formula, so the woman took matters into her own hands.

"He wasn't moving, and I just did it. I didn't know what else to do. I was desperate, and I just couldn't bear sitting there watching him die," the unnamed woman told KRDO-TV.

Tubbs, the labrador puppy is still alive today and has been successfully weaned off of breast milk!

While this case has a happy ending, veterinarians warn that women should not breast-feed animals, saying that there are certain things that can pass from human to animal and vice versa.

We're just happy that little Tubbs is back in fighting shape!
