Kid's Hilarious Math Homework Response Is a Little Too Honest

Kid writes hilarious response on Common Core math homework

The Common Core's math curriculum has been catching a little more flack than usual lately, after one dad's homework response went viral last week, calling out its "ridiculously" convoluted methods. This week, a 2nd grader's own homework response is making the rounds, for similar (though probably less intentional) reasons.

While working to solve a simple addition problem (17+25), the homework sheet asks the student to explain how he arrived at his answer, which is all part of the Common Core's teaching approach, which aims to teach kids to better understand math concepts.

However, this kid ain't got time for that. His response is pretty deadpan:
