If you felt somewhat teased by last weekend's royal baby snapshot (and basically, all the other meager glimpses we've gotten of him so far), it's time to ring the church bells—because Prince George has officially officially debuted! And man, is he cute. As. A. Button.

The adorable tyke touched down in New Zealand with his parents yesterday to kick off his first official tour, which will span both New Zealand and Australia over the next three weeks. And it's pretty obvious from what we've seen so far that the kid is a total natural at this royal baby thing.

Stepping off the plane yesterday in his mom's arms, Georgie looked pretty mellow, unfazed by the light rain and windy day. He was sporting a cream-colored romper number with a matching sweater, while mom Kate wore a scarlet Catherine Walker coat and matching Gina Foster hat. She accessorized with a diamond and platinum brooch in the shape of a fern, which is the national emblem of New Zealand. Aside from being symbolic, the piece is an heirloom—it was given to the Queen of England back in 1953, by the "Women of Auckland."

While upholding his royal duties, Prince George will be making pit stops in 13 different towns at 45 separate engagements, during which we're sure he'll experience the most "oooing" and "awwing" any baby has ever seen. (Which will bring us lots more adorable photos in the days ahead.) The whole trip itself is actually pretty historic, and mimics a trip George's own dad, William, took when he was practically the same age, back in 1983. Coincidentally, little George also just so happens to look exactly like his dad did at that age. (Don't you think?)

Other things that happened on the royal tour so far?

Poor Kate had another unfortunate Marilyn Monroe moment (which is starting to become her thing).

...then she nuzzled noses with dignitaries, as is customary in New Zealand.

And finally, she was a greeted by a man with no pants a Maori warrior, who of all people present, was probably the least psyched about the rain that day.
