5th Graders' Synchronized Swimming Performance at the School Talent Show Is Hilarious

We're not sure what kind of repertoire is usually showcased at your kid's school talent show, but we're willing to bet it's your usual fare of super-cute dance ensembles and the obligatory screechy violinist.

For the kids at Porter Elementary School in Hurst, Texas, though, they tend to pull out all the stops and get a little more creative than that.

Take this year's performance by a group of 5th grade boys, who regaled the audience with a truly unique and adorably hilarious synchronized swimming performance—on stage, while donning swim caps, bathing suits and goggles. Lucky for us, one of the kids' mothers uploaded a clip of their routine to YouTube, and it is utterly enjoyable.

Watch as these comedic geniuses glide across the stage and mock-dive through the waves a blue tarp to the sounds of Johann Strauss and the Vienna Philharmonic's "The Blue Danube."
