Mom Dresses Kid Up as a Hooters Waitress for TV Show

Move over "Toddlers & Tiaras," there's a new over-the-top pageant show in town, and from what we can tell, it's equally ridiculous.
In a recent airing of "Blinging Up Baby," a U.K. documentary following pageant kids and their over-the-top stage moms, a woman named Liane showed cameras a new costume she was working on for her daughter Scarlett: a Hooters outfit.
Though she admits she's never been to a Hooters restaurant herself, Liane tells the camera that she "understands they are quite popular in America" and figured it was an easy enough costume to make. So sitting on her couch, she glues rhinestones on a leotard, pairs them with orange shorts, and comes up with this ensemble, which her daughter later wears to a pageant:
"Some people may see it as controversial especially the theme that I have chosen, but at the end of the day little girls wear swimming costumes to the beach all summer, and that's not a controlled environment," she reasoned. "The environment my kids go in is a controlled environment and it is ticket-entry only."
Oh, well that explains that ...
Here, Liane shows the camera the outfit she plans to have her daughter wear:
Making matters worse was the fact that later on in the show, Liane teaches her daughter a specially choreographed routine to perform in the outfit. It involves pelvic thrusts and twerking. (You know, totally appropriate stuff for a 4-year-old.)
Almost immediately after the show aired, Twitter blew up.
A four year old girl should not be dressed up in a hooters outfit doing pelvic thrusts, what's wrong with these mothers #BlingingUpBaby
