Carson Daly Welcomes New Baby Girl

Carson Daly and wife Siri Pinter welcome baby girl, London Rose

It's been quite the month of baby announcements for the TODAY Show crew. Last week, co-host Savannah Guthrie debuted her little bundle o' joy Vale (by posting refreshingly makeup-free photos that got everyone talking). And just last night, news broke that her co-host Carson Daly had also joined the ranks, when he become a proud new parent for the third time.

The former TRL host and his wife Siri Pinter welcomed their little girl in New York on Wednesday, August 20, at a healthy 8 lbs., 11 oz. They also gave her a super sweet name to boot: London Rose.

The photos the family shared on TODAY.com of her first day in the world are just too cute for words.

Dad Carson was pretty proud of his wife Siri, calling her a "warrior" on this morning's TODAY Show segment.

In general, the morning talk show host has been overcome with emotion over the birth of his third little one.

"It's incredible," he said, sharing London's birth story with friend and co-host Willie Geist. "We thought this was going to happen on Saturday and it didn't. We went home. It was a long couple days of waiting. Finally, yesterday I got a call ... It was Siri saying 'Come on, come on! It's happening right now!' and like out of a movie, I sped to the hospital and they were literally waiting for me to get there and we had our beautiful baby girl."

Little London joins her 5-year-old big brother Jack and 2-year-old big sis Etta, who by the looks of these photos, were psyched to be getting a new sister to play with. (Who can blame them?)

The family's pent-up excitement is understandable, though, considering London Rose kind of overstayed her welcome in Mom's belly.

But no matter; now that she's arrived, Vale's mom Savannah, is eager to introduce the future BFFs. According to her recent tweet, she's already planning future playdates for the two little girls in her head.

We think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.
