After Student's Mom Dies, Classmates Swarm Hallway in Support

Students flood the halls to support teen whose mother had just died

Earlier this month, a Texas teen's life was changed forever when his mom sadly passed away. She had lost her battle with cancer, and could no longer hang on.

This week, the young man returned to the halls of his high school, undoubtedly trying to push the grief aside in an effort to return to normalcy. He probably dreaded going back to class for the first time; it would be difficult for anyone to shake the thought that everything in their life would now be different. But one thing's for sure: He definitely wasn't expecting what greeted him when he walked through those front doors.

This photo, shared by Redditor beets111, shows the incredible outpouring of support that met him in the hallway.

Nothing says "you're not alone" like a group hug from hundreds.
