Cello-Playing Child Prodigy Wows on 'Ellen'

Cello-playing child prodigy swings by the Ellen Degeneres show; is impressive and adorable

By now, it's pretty safe to say that the pint-sized musical prodigies who stop by the "Ellen Degeneres Show" never fail to disappoint. And we don't just mean with their musical prowess. (Need we remind you of the force that was Elias Phoenix? We didn't think so.)

Her latest such guest, Justin Yu, was no exception. Aside from being super talented, the 7-year-old cellist has so far accomplished way more than some adults even dream of. He is hands-down adorable. And as he sweetly regaled Ellen with his stories during a September 24 visit, little Justin quickly stole the audience's hearts.

First, he reminisced about the two times he's played Carnegie Hall so far, in awe to be playing among adults twice his size. Then he recounted his torturous flight experiences while en route to China—to which he's traveled three separate times.

"There were no games, there were no movies. As soon as my iPad was out of battery, I was like awwww," he lamented, before flashing this adorable face.

Then he busted out some killer dance moves, and we died of happiness.

Watch Justin's full visit below, including his wow-worthy performance at the end.

And you thought your 7-year-old was impressive for playing a flawless round of "Hot Cross Buns" on the recorder.
