Clintons Share First Photos of Baby Charlotte

Clintons share first photos of Chelsea Clinton's baby Charlotte

Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky may only be three days old, but she's already caused quite the media stir, just for being born.

The healthy baby girl arrived Friday, September 26, 2014, at Lenox Hill Hospital on New York City's Upper East Side, to mom Chelsea Clinton, dad Marc Mezvinsky and a load of fanfare. Among two of her very first visitors? None other than President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Otherwise known as "Grandma and Grandpa."

"We are thrilled to be with our daughter and her husband as they welcome their daughter into the world," a statement from the Clintons later read. "Chelsea is well and glowing. Marc is bursting with pride. Charlotte’s life is off to a good start."

And luckily, we didn't have to wait long before we caught a glimpse of her. (Albeit a tiny one.)

Chelsea was the first to share a photo of the baby girl, before the family even left the hospital.

Then it was Grandpa's turn. Bill tweeted his own proud photo out to the world, beside himself with happiness that his little girl now has a little girl of her own.

Finally, Grandma tweeted out her own happy post, with another too-sweet-for-words photo.

Sadly, though, not everyone was giddily celebrating the happy baby news. The New York Post quickly sent tongues wagging with this cruel and unnecessary cover:
