Amal Alamuddin Stuns in Wedding Photos

George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin's wedding photos shared

We don’t know about you, but we’ve been really into this Clooney-Alamuddin wedding. Like, really into it.

Forget for a moment the shock we all experienced when the notoriously marriage-phobic actor finally chose a bride after all these years of bachelorhood. And our glee over the fact that the new Mrs. Clooney just so happens to be a kickass British barrister with more than a fair share of beauty and brains.

Instead, we’d like to pause for a minute to talk about Amal’s pitch-perfect wedding style, which has been causing our mouths to drop since last Friday.

First, there was this black and white Dolce and Gabbana resort dress, worn the evening before their nuptials.

Then came this floral lace number by Giambattista Valli that she wore as the newly married couple walked hand-in-hand the next day. (George didn't look too shabby himself.)

Then, as the pair made things official in a civil ceremony, Amal emerged again in this radiant white ensemble by Stella McCartney.

(Love the pants, love the top, love the hat—love it!)

But this morning, we finally laid eyes on her wedding dress, when PEOPLE unveiled exclusive pics from the lavish wedding weekend. And let’s just say, Amal did not disappoint.

According to the Telegraph, Amal's dress was a "custom-made, off-the-shoulder de la Renta gown made of French lace, hand-embroidered with pearls and diamanté accents and featuring a full circular train, worn with a cathedral-length lace-edged veil." The lace was even crafted at the Sophie Hallette factory in France, which is one of the oldest lace factories in the world and just so happens to be where Kate Middleton's wedding dress was made.

For his part, George stuck to one of his tried and true favorites: an Armani tux. Part of the Made to Measure collection, his black tuxedo was made of ultra-fine/wool/cashmere, and paired with a white shirt and black bow tie. To polish off his look, the Oscar winner donned brushed black leather oxfords and a pair of cufflinks given to him by his new wife. (But here’s the sweet part: They were each inscribed with his name in Arabic.

PEOPLE reports that the couple went to great lengths to keep their wedding intimate, with just 100 guests in total. After a whirlwind romance, they finally exchanged vows on Saturday, September 27, in a gilded hall at Italy’s historic Aman Canal Grande Venice. There, friends and family erupted in cheers after the couple said "I do."

“George and Amal radiated love all night,” Alamuddin’s mother, Baria, told PEOPLE. “The wedding was so unbelievably special, it was legendary. These three days—the friends, the families, the atmosphere, everything—will stay with me all the rest of my life.”

So sweet.
