Stella McCartney Lingerie Benefits Cancer Center

Stella McCartney has created a fashionable way to support Breast Cancer Awareness and women's bodies at the same time.

A percentage of profits from the sales of her special-edition pink Gemma lingerie will benefit the Linda McCartney Center in Liverpool, England, according to Women's Wear Daily, and will help fund a mammography suite there.

Stella's mother, Linda, passed away from breast cancer in 1998 at age 56.

Joining the campaign is model Kate Moss, who has modeled a lacy pink bra from the line on the Stella McCartney website. The shot will also appear on the Stella McCartney social media platforms.

"There are so many women affected by this terrible disease and even more people affected by the loss of the incredible women in their lives," McCartney tells WWD. "There are preventive ways that can help; having knowledge of your body maintenance and upkeep. Raising awareness on breast cancer is critical."
