Before you get pregnant the first time, you hear whispers of something they call "the glow."

Then comes that little "plus" sign on the stick, which is often followed by weeks spent hunched over a toilet, and then the cravings and the swollen feet—good GOD, the swollen feet.

And somewhere during those nine long months, you stop to wonder, "WTF is this 'glow' they speak of, and when is it due to arrive?!"

Well, folks, it's becoming quite clear that such thoughts will never pass through the mind of the very lovely Blake Lively. Because nobody—and we do mean nobody—wears pregnancy better than this woman.

And that infamous "glow"? We believe it looks something like this:

Yep, stunning.

Blake's baby bump—which we first laid eyes on a few weeks ago, after she announced her pregnancy on her lifestyle site, Preserve—made its red carpet debut Thursday night. The actress was there to attend the Golden Heart Awards for God's Love We Deliver.

During the event, the actress joked a bit with reporters about her approach to pregnancy style.

"I’m gonna amp up my style by wearing things that are stretchier,” she said, according to PEOPLE. "Because that’s all that fits!"

Lively is due to deliver Baby No. 1 sometime in early 2015, and admits she is beside her self with excitement.

"It’s something that I’ve always wanted, ever since I was a little girl," Lively said. "I never knew what I wanted to do for a living, but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I come from a big family, so that was always important to me. It’s just the excitement of finally being able to."
