Halloween brings many gifts: cute kids in costume, free
candy and a wide variety of spooky movies airing on TV for young and old.
But there is one MORE fabulous gift for us all. The one and only J.K. Rowling—yes, THAT J.K. Rowling—will be releasing a "Harry Potter"-related story on
October 31. The brand-new tale won’t be about Harry, Hermione or Ron
but rather an older, less central character from the "Harry Potter" series.
The star of this new piece of Potterdom is Dolores Umbridge, a witch and former
Hogwarts professor, who didn’t appear in the series until the fifth book, "Harry
Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
The breaking news about
the story was announced on Rowlings’ site Pottermore.com.
“Umbridge is not only one of the most malicious Potter characters,
she is the only person other than Lord Voldemort to leave a permanent physical
scar on Harry. The new exclusive J.K. Rowling content provides a rich,

anxious for the story to not end, to never end. While Rowling took on other
projects, it seems that she can’t escape the epic world she created. Earlier
this year she published a short story about a grown-up Harry Potter (which came

the land that so many of us hold dear. She has the ideas, she has the words and
