J.Crew Hires 4-Year-Old Designer

JCrew hires 4-year-old dress designer for Crewcuts line

Earlier this year, a little girl by the name of Mayhem took Instagram by storm with her stunning paper dress designs.

You probably remember them — they were pretty gorge. But if you need a refresher, they looked something like this:

And this:

And last but not least, this:

If you've been wondering what became of the the pint-sized wonderkid, the wait is over. She's back — with a brand-new gig at J.Crew, no less.

The Ohio native has been given a role designing for J.Crew's kid's line, Crewcuts, where she's poured all her dress-designing creativity into a nine-piece capsule collection debuting in the spring. According to Who What Wear, the tot's line will include clothing and accessories.

It's all been a blast for the tiny 4-year-old, to say the least.

From working closely with some of J.Crew's top designers ...

To creating fun headbands and dress designs with lots of color and plenty of sparkle.

Being her very own dress model was cool, too ...

... as was hanging with Jenna Lyons, of course.

Oh, and twirling; let's not forget the twirling.

Springtime can't come soon enough.
