When Brittney and Briggs Fussy walked down the aisle last week at their wedding in St. Paul, the moment felt slightly familiar. The two had already been down that road, so to speak, 20 years before. Not to get married, but as part of the wedding party.
Brittney had been the flower girl. Briggs was the ring-bearer. They walked arm in arm to the front of the church.
Briggs told a FOX9 reporter that he and Brittney lost touch after the wedding. But in college, the had a class together. "She turned around one day in class and said, 'I think I have a picture of you on my wall at home,'" Briggs said.
The chance meeting in class turned into a date. Which, eventually, turned into Saturday's beginning of forever.
A story of the couple's unusual—and foreshadowed—beginnings ran on the local FOX affiliate, where they have video of the bride and groom and their practice run down the aisle in 1995.
