Lanvin's New Ad Campaign Features Mother-Daughter Duos

It seems like the latest ad campaigns from fashion's hottest houses are particularly inventive this year. We are completely obsessed with Céline's newest poster girl, the effortlessly cool (and fab-at-80) Joan Didion. When we first spotted Lanvin's campaign, it struck a special chord with us at Mom.me, because it features mother and daughter duos dressed in the line's fabulous threads.

Kristen and Billie Rose (above) show off their serious modeling skills with these equally as serious faces. Their bright blond hair, red lips and dramatic eye makeup are awesome, and the fashion looks equally suited for both of them. Pat and Anna Cleveland and Violeta Sanchez and Luz Godin (below) are also featured in the ads.

Fashion has always been about the designer making a statement, but ads have recently been showing multiple levels of meaning. We love that these are all about fashion, fun and family. Despite the matching outfits, hair and makeup, each personality shows through.

“Every time we do a family shoot, it feels like we’re going to their place: We feel like visitors,” Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz said to WWD. He described the images as being more than just an image, but also telling a story.

Its men’s campaign also explores family bonds, but fraternal ones, featuring siblings Callum and Haydn Rockall, and DJ partners Joshua Quinton and Andy Bradin.

The campaign was shot by famed British photographer Tim Walker, who inventive and dramatic snaps have graced the pages of Vogue for over a decade.

The campaign will be accompanied by a video featuring the mother-daughter duos. One thing is for sure—we can't wait to see what happens next.
