The Queen of Pop is known for always reinventing herself and pushing the envelope. Today, she announced that she will be debuting her music video for her newest single "Living for Love" on the social media smartphone app Snapchat. The single is the first one off the upcoming album "Rebel Heart."
The video shows Madonna in a more classic look, without that gold grill that she had been seen rocking. She's dressed in a matador-like costume and is surrounded by some hunky backup dancers. The video showcases her incredible dance moves, and a sound from Madonna that reminds us of some of her classics, but with a modern edge.
Snapchat is not the first social media company to debut an exclusive music video. Facebook, Twitter and Shazam have all launched video content as well.
You do need a Snapchat account to view it, but it will eventually be released on other platforms soon. To view the video, swipe right on the main page, tap the purple button, and then tap the black ghost icon. Users can see a teaser of the video or swipe left and right to see exclusive behind-the-scenes footage or the full-length video.
Megan Lawson choreographed the video and it was directed by the duo Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen. The "Rebel Heart" album is set to be released on March 10. Songs from the album have been leaked ahead of its release date, leading Madonna to release a few of the songs during the holiday season to her fans as a gift.
Madge is set to perform at the Grammy Awards this Sunday.
