"Hey girl, give me a kiss and I'll turn into your prince."
That's what women the world over (and plenty of men as well) would love to hear Ryan Gosling whisper in their ear. And if Disney has its way, it's that type of sweet somethings that the "Notebook" heartthrob would say as the star in Disney's live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast."
The Tracking Board, a Hollywood insider site, reports that Gosling has been offered the role of Beast in the remake of the 1991 animated Disney classic. The original's musical numbers would remain intact, meaning there's a chance to see Gosling sing and dance like he did as a youngster in "The Mickey Mouse Club."
Emma Watson of "Harry Potter" fame has already signed on to play the role of Belle. The film is set to begin production later this year.
