Parents of kids who love "Thomas & Friends" know that their children can get a little, well, obsessed with the famous tank engine and his friends on the island of Sodor.
Apparently actor and father of two Neil Patrick Harris is no stranger to that obsession. In fact, the self-professed "Tankie" takes his Thomas love a little too seriously in this hilarious Funny or Die video celebrating the tank engine's 70th anniversary.
In the video, Harris is so #ThomasObsessed that he ends up freaking out a bunch of little "Tankies."
But it's all in fun, of course.
"As a father of two, I truly understand the obsession that kids have with Thomas, mine love him," Harris said in a statement about his 4-year-old twins, Gideon and Harper. "There are parents like me everywhere; we know the songs, train names, and fall into the story just like we did when we were kids. This film is a fun way to let parents know they're not alone."
Harris throws out some fun facts about the British-born "Thomas," which got its start in books written by the Rev. Wilbert Awdry and his son Christopher. Did you know that Ringo Starr narrated the first two seasons of the TV series? The characters also have an extensive toy line from Mattel.
