'Mean Moms' Film in the Works

A fake poster for the New Line Cinema film "Mean Moms" is making its rounds on the Internet with actresses Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock and Cameron Diaz allegedly linked to the flick (though Bullock is the only mother in the trio). But before you get your hopes up for a trifecta of strong female leads, it appears the only star officially attached to the project—at this point—is Jennifer Aniston.

As reported by Variety, "Mean Moms" isn't a sequel to "Mean Girls," which starred a fresh-faced Lindsey Lohan as she navigated the trendy and biting social scene teens face in high school. Rather, "Mean Moms" focuses on the world of competitive parenting after a happily married mother of two moves from small-town America to the high-class suburbs. Both films are based on books by parenting author Rosalind Wiseman.

No release date for "Mean Moms" has been named, though it initially was set for May 8, 2015, and has since been pushed back. The project is still seeking a director.
