Jennifer Lopez Performs 'Feel the Light' on 'American Idol'

While "American Idol" hopefuls took the stage last night to see if they would move to the next round, judge Jennifer Lopez offered up a performance of her own on the hit show. And mom.me was there to see it!

Lopez performed her latest song, "Feel the Light," which is featured in the new DreamWorks Animation film "Home," opening in theaters March 27.

The singer/actress/"Idol" judge has a voice role in the film, which stars Jim Parsons, Rihanna and Steve Martin, and is about an alien (Parsons) that lands on Earth and meets a little girl (Rihanna), who is on a journey of her own. Lopez voices the role of the little girl's mom.

In between contestant performances, Lopez, wearing a gorgeous white dress that spilled onto the stage in a circle, appeared on a giant screen as she revealed the song.

Mom.me was there for the "American Idol" taping in Los Angeles and a meet-and-greet with Lopez after the show. (You'll see me in the photo below on the far left with my overly excited 8-year-old daughter.)

In addition to playing a mom in "Home," Lopez is also mom to 7-year-old twins Max and Emme, from her former marriage to singer Marc Anthony.
