Tiny Mom Breaks Steak-Eating Record

The Big Texan in Amarillo, Texas, has a steak-eating challenge that anyone who can eat a 72-ounce steak, baked potato, shrimp cocktail, salad and roll in under an hour gets a free meal. Otherwise it costs $72.

But that challenge ain't nothing for 120-pound mother of four Molly Schuyler. She did that and more—finishing three of the meals in 20 minutes, as reported in the Amarillo Globe News.

She ate the first meal in 4 minutes 18 seconds, breaking the restaurant's 4:58 record that she set last year.

"We've seen a lot of things come through these doors but Molly … she takes the cake … she takes lots and lots of cake," Big Texan co-owner Bobby Lee told the Amarillo.

Schuyler is no novice when it comes to competitive consumption challenges, having eaten a record 363 wings in 30 minutes at a competition in Philadelphia, earning $22,000, according to the Amarillo.
