Looking to get the man in your life a special gift? A really special gift? Look no further than an Australian company that designs men's lingerie, which is expanding its online store to keep up with the demand, as reported by the Daily Mail.
HommeMystere's risqué designs features any kind of women's lingerie you can imagine, but in sizes for men. Teddies, bras and G-strings are just a few of the items offered. From floral prints to silk and lace, there's countless styles to choose from.
"We are not concerned if you are gay, straight, vegetarian, Republican, Anglican, Martian or any other persuasion," according to HommeMystere. "We just design and manufacture attractive luxury underwear for men."
It's estimated that more than 90 percent of customers are in heterosexual relationships, combating rumors that the sexy clothing is targeted toward the gay community.
HommeMystere opened shop in 2008, but the recent demand has spread the company's notariety to a global level. Co-creators Brent and Lara Krause realized there were very few options for men who wanted an alternative to the tighty-whitey and boxer-brief lifestyle.
Krause is himself a self-proclaimed lingerie wearer, and he described the guilt many men who choose to wear lingerie feel. His hope is to offer an alternative style of underwear for men, based on their physique rather than their sexuality.
