Sometimes we wish our little one's clothes came in our sizes, but never before did we think we would be jealous of their entire closet!
Forget Baby Gap wardrobes and using our iPhone cameras to
snap our children's cutest moments. A wealthy mother in China has officially changed the game.
She might have taken the concept of
capturing childhood memories just a little too far. Usually, we like to snap
cute photos of our children playing in the backyard, or on the beach. For this
2-year-old girl, the background of her photo-shoot was a fashion show runway.
According to NextShark,
this mother spent over 1 million
Chinese yuan for her daughter's photo-shoot
wardrobe, coming out to over US$160,000! She travelled to designer destinations like the U.S., Hong Kong and Korea
over a couple of years to create the perfect, pint-sized luxury wardrobe, featuring pieces by Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Armani and Prada.
What was the point of this over-the-top luxurious
photoshoot? The baby's mother claims that it wasn't for a photo album, but
rather because she "has no financial issues," and wanted her daughter to
have a "better life."
This might not be the way we want to look back at our
childhood, but of course different people have different priorities, and it's everyone's prerogative to parent as they want. You do you!
Now, after $160,000 has been spent and the photoshoot is over, can we borrow one of those purses for the weekend?
