Palace Releases Photo Ahead of Prince George's 2nd Birthday

Prince George will be celebrating his second birthday tomorrow, and Kensington Palace released an adorable photo of the future king with another future king—his father, Prince William.

While we've seen little George rock sly smiles and loving big-brother gazes at baby sister Princess Charlotte, we've never seen the little guy give such a gleeful, mischievous grin to the camera.

No wonder they chose famed photographer Mario Testino to shoot these images of the family at Princess Charlotte's baptism in early July.

"Look who's turning 2 tomorrow! #HappyBirthdayPrinceGeorge," Kensington Palace tweeted.

To celebrate birthday No. 2, the royal family will be "spending the day privately in Norfolk" at their 10-bedroom country home, Anmer Hall, on Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham estate, a source from the Palace tells People magazine.

This year's celebration will reportedly be a little more relaxed than last year's festivities, when the royal family hosted a party at Kensington Palace, with Queen Elizabeth serving as guest of honor, while a band of Irish Guards played a rendition of "Happy Birthday," according to the Daily Mail.

We're sure the festivities will be just right for the adorable tot, whom dad William calls a "little monkey."

Happy birthday to George!
