While the recently separated Ben Affleck has been making headlines along with his soon-to-be-ex wife Jennifer Garner because of their joint divorce announcement last month, the "Batman v. Superman" actor is in the news for a completely different reason today.
According to Us Weekly, Affleck is dating the couple's former nanny, 28-year-old Christine Ouzounian.
While we admittedly were holding out hope that Garner and Affleck would resolve this pesky divorce situation that has depressed the entire nation (OK, we exaggerate)—after all, he's been photographed wearing his wedding ring while visiting his family in Georgia, where Garner is currently filming, and he even brought a puppy—our hopes might be dashed by this latest bit of cliché news.
Ouzounian, an Arizona State University grad, is an employee at a Beverly Hills nanny agency, according to the magazine, and was taking care of Affleck and Garner's three children (Violet, 9; Seraphina, 6; and Samuel, 3) during the couple's months-long trial separation.
That's apparently when the attraction started.
However, when "Garner discovered there was something going on between her estranged husband and Ouzounian, she let the babysitter go," Us reports.
If this news is true, this isn't the first time a famous actor has started dating the nanny while still married or just after a split. Ethan Hawke, Jude Law and Arnold Schwarzenegger are just a few on that list.
And while sources tell the magazine that Affleck and Ouzounian are getting closer, a press representative for the actor is denying those reports, saying, "all allegations of a romantic relationship are baseless and untrue."
