Thinking twice about letting your teen have an Instagram account? You might want to think a third time and let 'em have one. You never know, it could set your child up for his or her future career.
That's what happened to Ryan Parrilla, a New York City 16-year-old who has taken the photo-sharing app by storm with his haunting and breathtaking images of the Big Apple, amassing 100,000 followers and now participating in the show "Our Concrete Jungle." It features his shots of NYC from the sky, rooftops and helicopters, as reported by Page Six. You can find Parrilla's photos under the username @novess.
"People need to see these photos blown up, because on a mobile platform, it's not enough to see the beauty," Parrilla told Page Six, which is part of the New York Post. The Post first reported on the teen sensation a year ago, noting that despite his early success, he still has an 11:30 p.m. curfew.
