20,000 Rescue Pets Now Have Forever Homes

"Adopt, don't shop" was the mantra of the weekend, when more than 400 shelters participated in a mass adoption event.

"Clear the Shelters" was a nationwide effort to get as many rescue pets adopted as possible. The initiative involved shelters waiving or reducing their adoption fees. The weekend event was hugely successful with nearly 20,000 pets finding their own forever homes.
