Peekaboo, I see you! Isaiah Chute got as close as possible to a young gorilla at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. His mother, Sherry Chute, filmed the hilarious interaction between the Isaiah and his new friend.
"He was just looking at the gorillas and we said to him, 'Isaiah what do the gorillas do?' and he started pounding his chest," Chute told the Columbus Dispatch.
The 2-year-old boy caught the attention of Kamoli, a gorilla born in 2013. The two began to play peekaboo through the glass, Kamoli darting back and forth as Isaiah chased him.
"It was a really fun interaction," Chute told the Columbus Dispatch. "Isaiah is just like that. Anyone who knows him knows that's he's super playful."
Kamoli continued to hide from Isaiah as the toddler ran back and forth in front of the glass. They both eventually tired of the game, and Isaiah said goodbye to his new friend before leaving.
