Madonna's 15-Year-Old Son Ordered Back To US Against His Will

A judge ordered Rocco Ritchie, the 15-year-old son of Madonna and film director Guy Ritchie to return to the US from London, according to NY Daily News. Madonna and Ritchie divorced in 2008.

"He has expressed very clearly that he does not want to return to New York," Ritchie's lawyer Eric Buckley said.

"Has he prevented the child from returning to the U.S.?" Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Deborah Kaplan asked.

"Effectively yes," Buckley replied.

"I'm granting you all the relief you have requested," Kaplan told Madonna, who cracked a smile and nodded. "I'm directing the child to be returned to New York. If he wants to stay with his father, he must return to his mother."

Kaplan ordered that both parents not discuss the legal proceedings with their son. Kaplan said Rocco will receive his own court appointed attorney to revisit his decision of which parent he prefers to live with.
