In the words of Janice, the hilariously nasal character on must-see TV series "Friends": "Oh. My. God."
Turns out Ross, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey and Chandler will be getting together again for a "Friends" reunion, but it won't be exactly what you might think.
NBC announced on Wednesday during a Television Critics Association panel that the cast — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc — will be getting together for a special to honor one of the sitcom's directors, James Burrows.
While the sextet won't be performing in character — so no longing looks from Ross to Rachel — all six actors will be participating in the special, which celebrates Burrows, who also has directed episodes of "Taxi," "Cheers" and "The Bob Newhart Show."
"I'm hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time," NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt told TCA reporters, but, "I'm not sure we can logistically pull it off."
