This week's "Thanks for speaking up, sir" award goes to singer and social media aficionado John Legend, who defended his wife—all moms, really—with a Facebook response.
Last month, a week and a half after his wife Chrissy Teigen gave birth to their daughter Lulu, the couple went out to dinner, just the two of them. The internet noticed the baby wasn't with them.

The next morning, Chrissy tweeted this:
The furor continued.
There wasn't likely a mom alive who couldn't relate to the judgment and outrage from complete strangers. Moms should not take time for a shower, much less go out to a dinner that could potentially last as long as two whole hours (tops).
Missing from the discussion was Legend, as the new dad himself noticed. So he made himself a part of the conversation with a post today on Facebook.
Co-parenting at its best.
Celebrity couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have been very open on social media about their struggle to conceive, selecting the sex of their baby, their joy in the months of gestation and the birth of their daughter. They're apparently not stopping any time soon.
