First lady Michelle Obama is no stranger to making viral videos, but her latest is just over the top. Obama made a guest appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" for a segment of Carpool Karaoke and it was nothing short of fabulous.
Michelle Obama has done lots of cool things never previously done by any other first lady—and Inc. magazine has even written about how she has used social media to reinvent the role of FLOTUS. She's used Instagram, Vine and Periscope, and even gotten silly on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon.
"The younger generation is not watching nightly news, not reading the newspapers, not watching the Sunday morning shows—they're on their phones," Obama told Inc. "So we had to start thinking of creative and fun ways to connect with these folks."
Obama revealed during the ride that it was only the second time in 7 years that she's been able to rock out in the passenger seat (the other was when one of her daughters was learning to drive).
She even had some Beyoncé puns and they came up with a Secret Service nickname for Corden: "Tiramisu."
They also talked about the fact that she recently joined Snapchat. FLOTUS told the late-night host that she wanted to engage young people (her girls included) to follow along with her initiative called "Let Girls Learn." She'll be taking a trip to Liberia, Morocco and Spain soon focused on educating girls, and she wants young people in the U.S. to realize how lucky they are to have educational opportunities that other kids don't have access to in other countries.
The Carpool Karaoke set list included Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours," Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" and then surprise guest Missy Elliott joined up with them to bust out "This Is For My Girls" and an impressive rendition of her 2002 hit "Get Ur Freak On."

All we know is that—politics aside—we're definitely going to miss Michelle Obama when she leaves the White House. She's the coolest mom-in-chief there ever was.
