This Flower Girl Is Going Viral for the Most Hilarious Reason

It was straight out of a movie—except this time. instead of a "Runaway Bride," it was "Runaway Flower Girl."

Katie and Tom Quirk of Australia were exchanging their vows on their big day when an even more captivating show took place behind them. Their flower girl, Katie's niece Chloe, was making a mad dash for it with her agile mom following close behind—in heels, no less.

And the bride, the groom and all of the guests couldn't get enough.

Katie tells Today, she didn't even realize what was happening at first. "I saw this flash go by; then I saw my sister-in-law hauling after her, and that is when I turned to look. I could see little Chloe actually turning around and taunting her mother as she ran. She was basically saying, 'Come and catch me,' and I think that's when it set in: 'This is actually happening.'"

The newlywed reveals that she was laughing so hard at her niece's antics that she had to stop and repeat three different portions of her vows.

"It was one of the moments you could never have predicted, and it was such perfect timing," she says. "The guests were in stitches. Everyone was beside themselves. It was poetry in motion. It was genuine shock and hilarity."

Three-year-old Chloe was apparently an "absolute angel" the entire day, but perhaps, like all toddlers are apt to do, got a bit antsy and decided to just get some of the wiggles out. And who can really blame her?

The video has been viewed over 32,000 times and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. But Katie doesn't mind. "Amongst all the horrible stuff that you hear every day happening in the world, if this funny little video can make people laugh and bring a bit of happiness and cheer, I'm more than happy for it to go where ever it needs to go."
