'Tis the season for matching sibling Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes and mother-daughter twinning. One California family, though, is completely redefining the costume game.
On Oct. 1, Amriel Rogers, the oldest daughter in the Rogers family, tweeted photos of their detailed Halloween costumes through the years. Her photos have since been retweeted more than 4,000 times.
Every single element is so creative, we wish we could be honorary family members just to join the costume party.
They call their annual unveiling the "Rogers' Reveal."
Can we just take a moment and appreciate this level of commitment?
“I think it started off as my thing. Like, ‘OK, we all have to dress up,’” mom Michelle Rogers told ABC News. “Now my family is like, ‘What’s it gonna be this year?’ My daughter is now 18 and I figured as she went through high school she’d be like, ‘Mom, no.’ But she enjoys it. It’s a fun family thing for us.”
Yes, the photo above has nine—count them, nine—members and it's still just as cohesive and mind-blowing.
We can't wait to see what the Rogers family comes up with this year. The rest of us (who typically wear T-shirts and bedsheets as costumes) will live vicariously through them.
