Someone phone Steven Spielberg's home, stat! Because he won't want to miss the cutest E.T. ever.
Ohio mom Stephanie Pokorny, a master of the yarn, crocheted this fantastic E.T. costume for her 2-year-old son Jack—and she did it all freehand in about four days. Yep, there was no established pattern, so what you see is one-of-a-kind and not for sale. Plus, her total project cost was under $10. Someone give this talented mama a medal!
Pokorny shares and sells her work on her site, Crochetverse. The self-described "Halloween nut" is a huge fan of the '80s, and there's no more iconic choice than the stranded alien who won all our hearts (we have no doubt she will also instill that appreciation in Jack when he's older).
The mom told the Huffington Post that learned to crochet in her teens from her grandma while sitting "on a fabulous '70s brown plaid couch."
If you're in awe now, just look at other costumes she's made for Jack, including Clint Eastwood and Absolem from "Alice in Wonderland." They're unreal.
Jack, you are one lucky kid. Not only are you about to get all the candy while trick-or-treating this Halloween, but you'll have a photo for the ages.
