Imagine walking into school to pick up your child and having your child’s teacher say, “So [fill in the blank with your kid's name] tells me you guys have a ton of weed at home.”
That’s pretty much what happened to Los Angeles, Calif., dad Dax Holt recently when he went to his daughter Skylar’s school. The former TMZ producer was left speechless, according to his recounting of the incident on Facebook, when he learned that his daughter was informing teachers that they “have a ton of weed at home.”
Now, whether you live in a state that has legalized selling, partaking in and growing "weed" or not, you probably wouldn’t want your kid ratting you out because federal laws aren't quite as progressive as California laws.
Determined to get to the bottom of why Skylar would rat him out, Dax interrogated his daughter on camera. When he asks her what she said to her teachers, she responds, “Weed is not good for you.” It unfolds that she was a veritable, walking, talking PSA, explaining that weed is "like grass, but it’s not; it’s weed.”
Cue every pot joke you ever heard in your college days.
For the record, there is no weed in Holt’s backyard—at least not the kind of weed you would put in a pipe and smoke. What Skylar was referring to is the kind of pesky weeds that grow in your grass. The kind you pull so that they don’t take over your lawn.

Tell me that's not the funniest thing you have seen all day.
